<p>Dozens of lots shall include prominent figures and events of the Civil War, including rare war-date documents signed by Albert Sidney Johnston, Nathan Bedford Forrest, George E. Picket, Hiram B. Granby, John Hunt Morgan and numerous others, as well as several fine correspondences including an 1863 soldier's diary with Gettysburg content. We are also pleased to feature a fine archive of material which include letters of Diego Rivera and Freda Kahlo relative to the painting and installation of his famous mural at Rockefeller Center. Other fine properties include an original house plan by Frank Lloyd Wright; two triple signed checks, one by Theodore Roosevelt and the other by Richard Nixon; a rare A.L.S. of John A. Sutter; a circular letter singed by Thomas Jefferson defending his oft-criticized embargo; a superb and rare British cavalry officers' account of the battle of Waterloo; original drawings by Jack Kerouac, Bugsy Siegel's green velour fedora; and many other fine properties.

We will hold public viewings for lots offered at our Greenwich offices on Thursday, June 20, Friday, June 21, and Monday, June 24. Hours for the public viewings will be from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Viewings at our offices may be also be arranged by appointment.

Our offices are located at 100 Melrose Avenue, Suite 100 which is just off West Putnam Ave. in Greenwich, Connecticut. If you are unable to attend for any reason, phone lines will also be available for bidding. You may also bid over the Internet through ebayliveauctions.com. Registration for this service should be available by June 14 at the latest.
