Rock Island Auction Company’s December 2013 Premiere Firearms Auction is as diverse as it is encyclopedic. Not only do exceptional guns exist in every genre, but several genres in this sale represent a lifetime’s work from dedicated collectors who have comprised academic and thorough compilations in their field of interest. In this sale will be comprehensive assortment of “Trapdoor” Rifles consisting of every caliber, barrel length, and style of ramrod bayonet. The selection of over 450 Winchesters will include rare caliber and special order pre-64 Model 70 rifles and all your favorite lever actions such as 1873s, 1876s, 1886s, 1892s, & 1894s. They’ll have classic engravings, precious metals, amazing conditions, and scarce configurations.
