Highlights of the sale include:
1. A new discovery of an early, c 1876-7 photo of the Earp family with all of the Earp brothers and their father Nicholas.
2. The Ken and Rosemary Roberts miners candlestick collection containing some of the finest miners candlesticks ever made
3. The best saloon section we’ve ever had – including a fantastic collection of embossed saloon bottles put away for 40 years
4. The largest (by far!) antique American silver ingot, nearly 500 ounces – from Denver!
5. “Discovery” ingots from collections all over America
6. Western mining broadsides, lithographs and maps – the best selection of rarities ever offered at one time.
7. Western Art – five spectacular oil paintings in the style of Russell in oversized mural format by Franz Trevors, from the Palace Club, Reno, 1943-4.
8. Gaming – rare early slot machine (1910), chip collections, antique equipment and broadsides
9. Bawdy & Brothel- rare Mustang Ranch “gold card”, ultra rare early brothel tokens highlighted by the Goldfield “rooster”
