With VISALIA STOCK SADDLE CO / S F deeply stamped on all four buttons, beautifully engraved 1930s silver inlaid. double crescent moon, Cat pat No 65. San Francisco spurs feature an inlaid partial drop shank holding a 1 3/4", 12 point iron rowel, barrel chap guard, heel chains, plus 2" scalloped Visalia conchos monogrammed with the initial D affixed to finely, floral carved, two-piece Visalia leathers. We believe that these spurs were made for Visalia by the renowned bay area silversmith, Alsalio Herrera (1850-1941) who worked for G S Garcia in Elko, Nevada before moving to San Francisco in 1921. Excellent, 100% original condition
