Roy Williams (1907-1976) joined the Disney Studio in 1930. he was a prolific story and gag artist and remained with Disney throughout his career. He gained nationwide fame as The Big Mooseketeer on the Mickey Mouse Club (1955-58), one of only two adult main cast members in the series' initial run. In the 1950s and 1960s he also appeared regularly at Disneyland to entertain guests and draw sketches of the cartoon characters. Mr. Williams was named a Disney Legend in 1992. These two (2) original final drawings were created by Disney artist Roy Williams for submission to magazines for publication, likely in the 1950s. Both drawings are signed "Roy Williams." India ink on 11" x 8.5" paper, art image sizes 8.5" x 5.5" and 8.5" x 6". The paper has darkened a bit with age. Fine + condition.
