Commissioned by NASA, E.G.&G. (Edgerton, Germes-hausen & Gier) Inc., Boston built in their Advanced Research Department a "moon room" to simulate some of the problems inherent in lunar photography. We will be auctioning original material from this NASA order and spectacular photography of the "Apollo project", among them some pictures of men on the moon: 1) Approx. 77 slides, black & white or color, framed 8 x 10 cm models of the LEM, the astronaut and the moon's surface in "moon room" - photographs from Apollo program (among them some reproductions) - photographs of the moon, some more slides dealing with space. - 2-4) Midterm & Final Report of Wyckhoff's "A Study to Determine the Optimum Design of a Photographic Film for the Lunar Surface Hand Held Camera", 1965, personally dedicated to Dr. Al Carbone (2 original prints, 1 copy). - 5) MIT: "Apollo Guidance and Navigation, Visibility Data and the Use of Optical Aids" by Arthur C. Hardy, 1963. - 6) "EGG ink", Sept. 1965, with a report ("Lunar Photography"). - And: 7) 16 mm Film "Simulated Space Voyage to Jupiter & Saturn", Hartford Planetarium (Hoagland, Nilsson, Wyckhoff), approx. 120 m on 120 m spool. Das Mondlandungs-Projekt E.G.&G. (Edgerton, Germeshausen & Gier) Inc., Boston errichteten in ihren Laboratorien im Auftrag der NASA einen "moon room", um am Modell Probleme der Photographie auf dem Mond studieren zu können.
