Vol. I is signed by Roscoe Turner on a small pennant-shaped pictorial card affixed to the front free endpaper. Vol. II accompanied by a Typed Letter Signed dated Feb. 19, 1954, which reads (in part): “…It is always a pleasure to hear from young people who are interested in flying. I sincerely hope that something will be done to stimulate interest and make possible flying for your people.
