Fully mounted inside marked Crockett spurs with Johnnie Mullen's style bars on the off-side, large overlaid initials JCM on the front band, Crockett catalog pattern No 87 with 1 1/4”, 5-pt rowel, 1 1/8" wide heelband, 1 7/8" shank, swinging 1" buttons, Tie down buttons, c 1918
CONDITION: Spurs are missing a single mounting on the inside shank plus exhibit other 101 Ranch bunkhouse modifications that include cut-off chap guards, added tie-downs and later bull rider rowels
PROVENANCE: By descent through the family of James McClung, who was a friend of Joe Miler and a well-known bronc and bull rider on the 101 Ranch
