Edward VII Royal Engineers officer's dress sword having belonged to Major W. P. Pakenham Walsh. Engraved with his name and crest, made by Edward Thurkle, Denmark Street London, with steel guard and pommel, shagreen and wire grip, the fullered blade stamped '10405' in steel mounted leather scabbard, with relevant photocopies of The London Gazette. Note: W. P. Pakenham Walsh was killed on active service on July 1st 1916.
