Built on a Sid comfort tree with 13” swells, a 3” cantle and a 14 1/2” seat, the heavy gauge engraved sterling corner plates with raised oval conchos feature raised figures that include a calf roper and Texas longhorn on the skirts, a bull dogger and bareback rider on the jockeys plus a let ‘er buck cowboy on the tip of the taps. The saddle includes a matching Lee Douglas model Bohlin bridle with maker-marked silver overlaid Bohlinmade Port bit. The Saddle includes a Bohlin black and white corona and was originally made in the 1940s for Michael J Katrenick of Tashua Stock Farms in Stepney, CT, whose name is on both the saddle and cantle plates
