Ridden in the Fiesta San Antonio parade, dazzling Edward H Bohlin San Juan black, fully floral carved, sterling silver parade saddle with matching Bridle, Breast Collar, Bit, Custom Serape and Saddle Blanket. Built on a Miles City Tree, with a 16" seat, 15" swells, 5" cantle, 15" x 29" skirts, 9" fenders, three-quarter flat leather rigging, 22" long tapaderos. Full solid sterling front, silver horn with raised buffalo head, cantle with bold rope edge. Completely adorned with round and square heavy gauge poppy Bohlin conchos & Bohlin spots. The special order serape mounted with Bohlin silver around the perimeter, plus period (1940s) Mexican silver ornaments of cockatoos, birds, ducks -- some featuring turquoise eyes. Bohlin seat plate stamped F C Sturmer. Outstanding condition, c 1940s. Includes oak display stand
