Edward H Bohlin, Hollywood, California The Leggett model silver mounted parade ensemble with matchin
Designed by and named after N H Leggett of Porterville, California in the late 1930s, this lovely and elegant black floral carved, silver mounted parade saddle with black and white wool corona, first appears in Bohlin's 1941 saddlery catalog. It has a 16" seat, 4 1/2" high cantle, and is adorned with 100% Bohlinmade sterling silver in both diamonds, round, and tiered-round conchos, plus their trademark silver spots. The swells are adorned with finely engraved, heavy gauge sterling as is the lovely high cantle and cantle cover. The saddle, bridle and breastcollar were reconstructed in the finest Bohlin specifications and tradition, and by acclaimed saddle restorer, John Carney. This entire riding ensemble is in outstanding condition and is perfectly rideable today
