Edward H Bohlin Black San Gabriel Model Parade Saddle
Always considered one of Ed Bohlin’s most artistic parade saddles, the San Gabriel is made on a Miles City tree with three-quarter flat rigging and features rose pattern carving mounted with heavy gauge sterling conchos of Indians, buffalos, eagles, horseheads, bucking broncs - all atop square, rope-edged, silver conchos. The saddle was made for Margaret Rowe of El Rancho Margarita in Yerington, Nevada and has a 4 1/2" high rope edge cantle, 20" long tapaderos, a 14" seat, a solid silver rope edge front all completely covered with exquisitely engraved sterling. The owner’s silver Circle R is on the tapaderos and Bohlin’s trademark buffalo head sits atop the horn cap. The outfit includes a matching Bohlin Bridle and Breastcollar plus wide horsehair Cinch and black & white wool Corona
