The vendor advises, by note included, that the following was obtained from the estate of H.H. RILEY, Lt. Coronal, i/c the 31st RECCE Regt., WW2 era. The lot is made up of a ID Bracelet, with words engraved on front, H.H. RILEY MM over 31ST (ALTA) RECCE and a silver 15th Light Horse Crest in centre, on the back words, I LOVE YOU HON. Also stamped on back, GOLD FILLED/STERLING BASE/ECCO I think about half letters worn off, with linked chains and catches on either side. Also the Officer's Cap, age dulled fire gilt, with solder like spots on both ears and neck of antelope, showing some age, but well made and two collar badges, Officer's pattern, one collar with lugs, showing some age dulling and one with pin back possible sweetheart, nice fire gilt. Also two shoulder titles, brass, A.L.H., 2 bar, 13.46mm high, lug fasteners. 1 - Button, brass, 24.08mm size, HICKS & SONS maker marked, has crest of the 15 LH on it. 1 - Cloth Divisional flash, green diamond with red and blue circle disk sewn on. 1 - Cloth shoulder flash, 31ST (ALTA.)RECCE. REGT, dark red on dark blue with white inner border all on black, some moth nipping on several area of outer edge, shows age darkening and use. Wonderful collection to LT COL. of the Regiment and some scarce pieces.
