Item/Description: Pair of antique Chinese Shiwan-ware polychrome glazed ceramic wall pockets, late 19th or early 20th century. One pocket featuring a hand-modeled high-relief seated scholar or immortal figure holding a fan, flanked by attendants; the second depicting a dynamic dragon and "dragon-fish" motif amidst stylized waves and clouds. Both pieces finished in a traditional Sancai-style palette of emerald green, amber yellow, and cobalt blue lead glazes over buff stoneware. Designed with flat backs and integrated suspension holes for mounting.
