Larger buttons 1.7 centimeters 17 millimeters 21/32"
Smaller buttons 1.3 centimeters 13 millimeters 17/32"
About a year ago we took them to a gemologist and she said she was positive they are bone. She also said they are from the late 1800s. Very rare we have looked and looked and can't find anything like them. What she thought they were a process where the design is scratch in and the color is applied after.
We don't know if it's the original box, but they have been stored in it for years.
