<p> 1st. The starting price is the lowest at which a lot can be adjudicated. This price has to be understood as a reserve price, and it will not be decreased.
<p>2nd. The total adjudication price will include 18% extra in concept of accessory expenses, plus shipping and/or insurance. The delivery of the articles adjudicated will be invoiced generically, whatsoever the circumstances of place of residence of the purchaser, INCLUDING VAT in compliance with the Specific Regime for used goods, works of art, antiques and collector’s items.
<p>3rd. If you are unable to attend the Auction personally, please send us your bid as soon as possible. Lots are not necessarily sold for the amount of your bid, but at the lowest possible price. For instance, if you bid EUROS 3.000 for a lot with a starting price of EUROS 1.000 and the highest bid below yours is EUROS 1.500 the lot will be adjudicated to you at EUROS 1.600.
<p>4th. Bids must be made in EUROS. Any bid in other currency will be changed in EUROS. The amount of the payments in other currency, will be subject to the daily Bank exchange rate. Bidding scale:
From 100 to 500 EUROS. 20 EUROS.
From 501 to 1.000 EUROS. 50 EUROS.
From 1.001 to 2.000 EUROS. 100 EUROS.
From 2.001 to 5.000 EUROS. 250 EUROS.
From 5.001 onwards minimum increase 5%
<p>5th. Payment for mail bidders is due upon receipt of invoice. Upon receipt of payment, we will despatch the material by mail at the buyer’s expense and risk, unless we have been instructed to do otherwise.
<p>6th. AUCTENTIA reserves the right to group together two or more lots in this Auction and to withdraw a lot or lots from this Auction at its discretion.
<p>7th. The Auctioneer will regulate the bidding. In the event of any dispute, his decision is final.
<p>8th. Authenticity. All lots sold through us are guaranteed to be genuine. Any claim in this respect must be brought to the attention of AUCTENTIA within 30 days of the auction date. The buyer loses all his rights on claims made later.
<p>9th. The lots will be auctioned in their present condition, and no kind of claims will be accepted for restorations or damages even though the descriptions have been done very thoroughly, the buyers will have to make sure before the auction, that these descriptions correspond to their personal opinion about the lot.
<p>10th. Payment facilities. The buyer may choose to pay 30% of the total value upon receipt of the invoice and the balance in six equal instalments over the following 6 balance months. AUCTENTIA will charge interest of 0’50 % on the outstanding balance at the end of each month.
The lots will remain in the possesion of AUCTENTIA until full settlement of the account.
The lots may be examined by the buyer in our offices within 30 days after the Auction date, affer which he loses his right to claim according to our nr. 8 sale conditions.
<p>11th. The awarded lots can be fetched in our office: Calle Beethoven 13, 08021 Barcelona, within 15 days after the auction.
<p>12th. AUCTENTIA reserves the right of admission to the auction room as well as the right to refuse a bid order at tis discretion.
<p>13th. Property. Lots remain the property of the seller until full payment, including clearance of cheques and bills of exchange, has been received.
<p>14th. The taking-part in the Auction implies the acceptance of the present conditions.
<p>15th. Any legal proceedings concerning this Auction will be submited to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Madrid.
