1) J. Goodwin, Longton, Staffordshire, 1846 design registration, printed maker’s mark. With temples and figures by a river. 2) J. and M. P. Bell and Co., Glasgow, Scotland, circa 1850-1870. Italian Lakes Series, with group of musicians by a river. 3) Middlesbrough Pottery, Yorkshire, circa 1834-1844, impressed maker’s mark. Wild Rose pattern with scene of rustic cottage, bridge and two punts in foreground. Diameter of largest plate 26 cm. (10 1/4 in.). Literature: Second plate illustrated in A. Coysh and R.
