set of landscape format Oxford Worcester & Wolverhampton Railway coloured plans in board covers lettered in gold "Ox. W & W Railway 1851" and a GWR purple stamp. Subtitled "Proposed Line From Wolvercot near Oxford To Brentford". Approx. 65 plans, 213/4"x151/2" (see Lot 103). Note The O, W & W opened in 1850 to operate the line from Oxford to Wolverhampton; was amalgamated with the West Midland Railway in 1860 which in turn amalgamated with the GWR in 1863.
