<td width="100%">
Harrach Vase that is signed and numbered. It is signed with the propeller mark It is signed witih the propeller mark with the number "7" on the bottom.

Actually, it is not a propeller, but it is "feather plumes". It was derived from the Harrach family crest. The marks were crudely formed and they were applied by hand with an ink stamp, which accounted for their crude appearance. This vase is circa 1880. It is in perfect condition. The vase is doubled cased glass. The inner layer is custard glass, which fluoresces under black light and the outer casing is satin glass. It goes from a rich rasberry color on the top and gradually lightens to pink at the bottom. Some people might say this is peachblow, but I do not think it is. Because of age (circa 1880) there is some loss of the gold gilding. The vase stands 9 3/4" and is approximately 5 1/2" at its widest. It is exceptionally rich in color and very attractive to look at.
