hand woven highly detailed persian sanandaj. size 4.4 x 4.1 feet, made of fine quality lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, this rug is beautifully designed in a manner in which every element seems to be on a layer of it's own, with the centerpiece medallion in the middle. finished off beautifully with an intricately done floral border. hand woven in sanandaj, iran. as a result of the handmade weaving process, not all sides may be straight or corners square.
