french figural gilt mantel clock Movement marked HATTON A PARIS, late 19th century. The 4 in. enamelled dial with Gothis-style Arabic numerals, simple Roman hands, ttypical 8-day drum movement, Brocot-type suspension with bell chime on the hour and half-hour, encased in a gilt metal and marble semi-circular base with applied gilt floral and foliate decoration, surmounted by a patinated cast metal figural group (with key and pendulum).
