<td width="100%">
This has to be the most unusual and beautiful-looking epergne that was every made. I believe, it is English in origin. I will not guess which maker though. Circa 1880's. The two flowers on each end are attached to a hand-blown twisted glass stem. Each stem is about 7 1/2" long. The stems have a twist at the top so the flower is displayed perfectly facing you. Attached to the stems are two crystal flowers that measure 3" x 3", and within the flower is a glass bud that is stippled. Each of these buds fluouresc under black light. Now we go to the center flower. It is large, 5" x 5" with a red bud in the centre. The entire center flower is canary vaseline and fluouresces under black light. It sits on a crystal hand blown stem. All three glass stems sit into a base metal, and, I am not an expert on metal, so if I had to make a best guess it would be brass. Each glass stem has a 1" covering of this metal and each one sits into an opening. All the metal fittings sit on a canary vaseline glass base which is 5" x 5" and the entire epergne sits nice and sturdy. The glass base comes up in the center give the epergne greater height. To the top of the middle flower from the base it is almost 10". From the outside of one crystal flower to the opposite flower, the expanse is 14". I have to reiterate, this is a one-of-a-kind epergne that you will most likely never see again. CONDITION. IT IS ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS, PERFECT. EVEN THE METAL BASE AND FITTINGS ARE PERFECT.
