coffee-table incorporating a circular enamel plate (161/2" diameter) displaying the Southern Railway flag, identical to the centre of the Merchant Navy Class nameplate "CHANNEL PACKET". Mounted on three legs, 141/2" tall. The Southern Railway made a third enamel crest for use in these coffee tables to present at the naming ceremony of the locomotive. This one was recovered from the Divisional Shipping Manager's Office, Dover.
