A nice pair of stainless steel, iron rowels, working cowboy spurs marked ROY (Roy Robinson, Montrose, CO. - Bryan TX.) The straps may be older than the spurs, done in the 50’s Mexican style, but the buckles are marked with the anchor brand (North and Judd) and stamped ‘Solid Brass’. A real decent working pair of spurs and straps with cowboy character. From the collection of Good Time Charlie Cartwright, legendary tattoo artist famous for black and grey tattoo artistry. Charlie admired the American Indian and collected the image of American Indians and Western hero’s for 40 years. The collection has more ‘Indian Kitsch’ than ‘Route 66’ in the 1950’s.
