Mid 19th Century original non converted percussion. Brass frame with German silver inlay. .38 caliber. 29 3/4" heavy octagon barrel, signed "T.H. KNOLLIN / OSWEGO, N.Y." on the top flat of the barrel & stamped"REMINGTON" on the side flat, a known situation as Remington sold barrels separately. Stock is brass mounted with a 2-piece Patch-box. Silver inlaid dog on the left butt. Very good condition with smoothbrown patina on the barrel, untouched brass & a sound stock. Good working order.
