The lot features a rare circa 1970’s Nocona Sea Turtle leather western cowboy men’s boots. The boots are comprised of rare 100% sea turtle leather with leather boot loops and shows a two-layer construction to the top of the boot toe. The foot has a point oxford like design with the sides having a wonderful diamond pattern. This pair of boots show a serial number on the inside of the boots that reads as follows: P2362-485. The shoe size is US 10 1/2. Nocona boots was founded in Nocona, Texas in 1925 by Enid Justin, daughter of Justin Boots founder H.J. “Daddy Joe” Justin (who began boot-making in Spanish Fort, Texas 1879). Later the company merged with Justin Boots in 1981. The condition of this pair of boots is good with a slight wear to the soles and to the side walling of the boots showing some open seams, worn top loops, etc. The measurements of these boots are 13 1/2" x 11" x 4".
