<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4"><tr><td><em> USE THIS LOVELY CRUET SET ON YOUR TABLE!!</em></td></tr><tr> <td width="100%"> This lovely cruet set would look right at home on any table
today, just as it did onboard a Royal Navy vessel c. 1875! <P>
Tables in a 19th c. sailors' mess hall had holes for the four knob
feet to fit into, so the oil & vinegar would not go flying during
rough seas. The handblown bottles are very nicely shaped, Each
one is etched with the anchor, the insignia of the Royal
Navy.<P>The holder has slightly less silver than sterling; there
is some tarnishing on the stand. As one might expect because of
the age and use, the original corks do not survive. They can be
easily replaced with new, clean corks. <P>So, splash away!! </td></tr><tr> <td> </td></tr><tr> <td>Reference #: SIL1110</td></tr><tr><td>Condition:excellent; some tarnishing on silver stand</td></tr><tr><td>Year:1875 - 1885</td></tr><tr><td>Country:England</td></tr><tr><td>Maker:unknown</td></tr><tr><td>Height:12</td></tr><tr><td>Depth:4</td></tr><tr><td>Width:7</td></tr><tr><td>Weight:3</td></tr><tr><td>Title:c. 1875 British Royal Navy Cruet Set</td></tr><tr><td>Materials:silver, glass</td></tr><tr><td>Location:Sharon, CT 06069</td></tr></table>
