c. 1820, Rare Original Pension Agent Broadside, measuring 16.5” x 10.25” (by sight), matted and framed to 23” x 16.75”, 1 page, Auburn, New York. This 2-section Broadside is made to appear as two side by side Broadsides of similar style by H.H. Bostwick of Auburn, New York. He directs this advertisement/circular to members of the New York State Militia in the War of 1812 who may be entitled to extra pay, non-reimbursed expenses, or to their promised 160 Acres of Land for their military service. He offers to act as broker in the sale of such lands, often neglected and sold for back taxes, and to pay cash, "For Bounty Land Warrants". A small open view "window" on the back side of the frame allows the viewer to see the addressee and original postal marks. This example was sent to, “Samuel Wilson Esq” on July 15, no year.
