These original prints were published in London by Alexander Hogg for use as illustrations in a book describing Captain James Cook’s Voyages. Each print is disbound and measures 9.75" x 14.75" and include the following titles:

1. The Inside of a House, in Nootka Sound;

2. The Tschuktschi, and their Habitations;

3. The Inside of the House in the Morai, in Atooi / Canoes of the Oonalashka;

4. A View of the Habitations in Nootka Sound;

5. A View of Snug Corner Cove in Prince William’s Sound;

6. Natives of Oonalashka, & their Habitations;

7. Portrait of a Man of Oonalashka / Portrait of a Woman of Oonalashka;

8. View of the Inside of a Winter-Habitation in Kamtschatka;

9. Exact Representation of the Inhabotants of Norton Sound, and of their Habitations, &c.; 10. A View of the Town and Harbor of St. Peter and St. Paul, in Kamtschatka;

Most of these imprints are in excellent condition for framing and display, though a couple have tight bottom margins, affecting the title; others have some light scattered foxing. Lot sold “as is”. (11 prints).
