<B>Zane Grey Autograph Letter Signed</B></I> "<I>Zane Grey</B></I>". One page, 5.75" x 6.5", on personal letterhead, Altadena, California, December 14, 1933, to a Mr. Chapman. It partially reads, "<I>I am mailing the fourth story...with photographs. Please for goodness sake don't cut my stories. They all will go into book form, but I'm trying to put something new in the magazines...</B></I>". Novelist Zane Grey elevated the Western from the realm of mere pulp fiction to a distinct genre of American literature. The color of Grey's stationery cleverly reflects his name. Clear, bold signature. Folds and later pencil notations. Very Good condition. Mounted in silvered frame to 16.0" x 12.0" along with halftone image of Grey posing with a rod and several huge marlin.
