The obverse shows a bust of President of the United States Zachary Taylor surrounded by “Zachary Taylor President of the United States” and “1849” below. The reverse shows clasped hands (one clothed and the other without clothing) with a crossed peace pipe and pipe tomahawk above and the legend “Peace And Friendship”.
