Soviet Air Force major, Gagarin was the first human to fly in space and orbit the earth in April 1961. He was killed in a plane crash in 1968. Three vintage color postcard photos, two 4 x 5.75 and one 5.75 x 4.25, one signed in fountain pen by Gagarin, the other two signed in blue ink. One of the photos is also signed in fountain pen by Gherman Titov. One signature fairly light, but completely legible, and a few scattered light creases and wrinkles, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by five unsigned photos, including several candid photos, as well as three Russian postage stamps.
