This finely conducted ink painting was created by the Chinese artist Yun Daoren (???). Depicted is a bird sitting on a branch with roses. To his lower left is a pretty iris blossom. The subject matter is rendered in a very detailed, colorful and naturalistic manner. A very decorative piece.



The work is signed, dated and titled, and bears a seal upper right. The sheet is mounted on cardboard and framed under a mat. The sheet is besides some slight creasing and foxing in good condition. The mat cutout is 58 x 31.5 cm in size and the total dimensions, including the frame, are 74.5 x 46.3 cm. (tm)
