<B>Yoruba (Nigeria)</B></I><BR>Tray for Ifa Divination, <I>Opon Ifa</B></I><BR>Height: 9 3/8 inches Width: 16 inches<BR><BR>Another rectangular tray, but here all sides are concave in plan, the longer sides showing the greatest bowed effect. A single face of Eshu/Elegba is at the top, and most of the relief border is embellished with non-figural patterns. There is much use wear and some small old losses along the inner rim of the raised border.<BR><BR>Provenance: H.
