I appreciate it that you took time and effort to write. The many letters of support and encouragement I have been receiving give me strength for the future." In fine condition. Rabin resigned as prime minister on April 8, 1977, in the wake of reports that he and his wife held two bank accounts in Washington; according to Israeli currency regulations at the time, it was illegal for citizens to maintain foreign bank accounts without prior authorization.
