This is an exceedingly rare Yellowstone National Park Lake Hotel Lodge 1910-1920’s hand crafted woven whicker ash painted white table made by H. Von Briesen of San Diego, CA with two wicker chairs. The piece was included in the Yellowstone National Park Inventory in 1929. The white base and back board are constructed of sturdy stick reed and has a trapezoid shaped top of solid gum wood. This was purchased in the late 20th century directly from Yellowstone National Park and has been in a private collection ever since. This piece and others were shown in the Montana Historical Society photographs taken in 1950 as shown. Desk measures 47.5”L x 23.25"W x 28”H and each chair is 17"W x 19"D x 35"H.
