ALS, one page, 8 x 10.5, no date. Letter to an admirer and collector. In part: “It was interesting to learn that you were a gunner on a TBM. I flew TBM’s in the fleet just after WWII…I was in Air Group One which previously had VT-4 as the torpedo squadron…In that squadron I flew the F8F Bearcat. That was quite an airplane. It’s too bad it didn’t get into combat before the war was over.” In fine condition.
