Wurlitzer Model 1015 (1946)
Plays 24 selections ? 78 rpm
Complete with color wheels in its sides, new die castings, formed plastics, and the bubble tubes it helped make famous running from its base to its arch, the Model 1015 was the single most popular jukebox of the light-up era.
Wurlitzer shipped more than 56,000 units in 1946 and 1947, accompanied by the largest promotional campaign in jukebox history, including swizzle sticks, napkins, tabletop displays, coasters, decals, billboards, and prominent advertisements
In national magazines, all proclaiming "Wurlitzer is Juke Box." This unit has new bubble tubes, reproduction plastics - the originals rarely survive or shrink due to age - and are generally replaced when the unit is restored.
The unit also comes with a restored Model 3020 counter top box for remote control,
a reproduction Model 4008 matching speaker, and an original factory service manual. And, a complete 45 rpm ?Cobra Kit?. This is a kit to convert the unit from 78 to 45 rpm.
This is a kit that was put out by Wurlitzer to enable the unit to play the ?new? 45 rpm records as they became more popular.
It took 7 years to get this as great as it is. it is a joy to hear this and have in your home or business. We could sell to las vegas and sell it on a slot machine, but would like to ...
