<B>World's Columbian Exposition "A" Tickets 1893 Choice Crisp Uncirculated.</B></I> These tickets were engraved by the ABNCO. The reasoning behind the vignettes is that Columbus was the discoverer of the New World, the native American was the original inhabitant of the New World, Washington was the Father of Our Country, and Lincoln was the Savior of Our Country. These come in two varieties with and without a blue "A" overprint. The tickets offered here are of the scarcer "A" ticket persuasion. For future reference, there are two more engraved tickets, the musician Handel without the "A" overprint and Franklin with the "A" overprint.
