This is an excellent example of a Late WWII Nazi K43 semi-automatic sniper rifle as manufactured by the Walther factory. The left side of the receiver is marked "K43" and "ac/44" ,the serial number and the "eagle/359" Waffenamt and Nazi firing proofs. The receiver is the late type three rough cast version with minimal machining with the single bolt guide. It also has the late rough cast bolt cover with the reinforcing web on the front end and the hollow cocking knob on the left side marked "4875" marked underneath. It also has the late stamped action cover, with the blue sliding dust cover. The magazine is marked "aye" and "K43" with a Nazi "eagle / WaA / 643" in between the two markings. Hooded high ramped front sight and adjustable rear tangent sight graduated to 120 meters. The stock is the correct late war laminated version. It has the stamped trigger guard barrel band and front sight cover, with Waffenamt stamp on the pistol grip and underside near the butt, with a cupped buttplate with the phenolic resin handguard. It has a late war (non-matching) scope mount marked with an eagle 359 proof with the sniper scope marked "Gw ZF4/ 71512/ ddx" on the left side, adjustment knobs, rubber eyepiece with wood plug and leather cover on the objective end. Complete with a brown leather sling, and blue cleaning rod.

Condition: Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, showing a mixed gray patina on the barrel, proper rough receiver texture, and some handling marks. The stock is excellent with a few minor dents and dings. The buttplate has a smooth brown patina. The sling is excellent with a few light scuffs and some minor wear. The scope is fine on the exterior. The optics are a foggy and the strap for the lens covers is separated from the front cover and the strap shows some heavy wear. The markings are clear. The mechanics are excellent.
