World War II U.S. Springfield M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle with British Proofs
Produced in June of 1942, and most likely shipped to the British as part of the Lend-Lease program. Blade and adjustable peep sights, with "BATTLE RANGE" knob and locking bar. Springfield barrel with June 1942 date on the right side and a set of Birmingham proofs and tonnage marks on top near the muzzle, Springfield bolt, hammer, safety, trigger guard housing and operating rod. Smooth stock with no visible markings.

Condition: Very fine, with 97% of the original Springfield Armory finish, showing some light handling marks and wear overall. Stock is sanded and refinished, with a few mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
