Two original color nurse recruitment posters published by the Public Health Service, Division of Nurse Education: a 20 x 28 poster printed by the US Government Printing Office in 1944 (1944-O-599074), portraying two nurses by artist Jon Whitcomb, with elaborate text, "Be a Cadet Nurse, The Girl With a Future"; and an 18.25 x 25.75 poster printed by the US Government Printing Office in 1945 (1945-O-645714), depicting a nurse in a gray uniform by artist Alexander Ross, with the text, "A lifetime of education free for high school graduates who qualify, U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps." In overall fine condition, with intersecting folds as issued and a few tiny pinholes.
