This is the standard WWII German Army Contract Luger pistol as manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1941. It has the "byf" code marked front toggle with "41" on the chamber and the double "Eagle/655" Waffenamt and firing proofs on the barrel extension. Standard military serial number placement with "P.08" on the frame. It is fitted with 2 type three German Army magazines with blue magazine bodies marked with the "fxo/Eagle 37" marks and pinned aluminum bases. The bases are both marked "6965/Eagle 135", with no other proofmarks. It is complete with a black leather Army type holster marked on the back "bcb/1941/Eagle/WaA170" and is complete with an original "Eagle/135" proofed takedown tool.

Condition:
Excellent with 99% of the original blue finish overall, with minor edge and high spots wear overall with minor thinning and scratches on the grip straps. The grips are in excellent condition with nice defined checkering on both sides. The holster is also in excellent condition with nice sharp and defined markings on the back side with excellent color overall with nice tight white stitching. As noted this 1941 production Luger pistol rig has all matching numbers to include both original magazines.
