World War II Japanese Nagoya Type 94 Pistol with Holster and Two Matching Magazines

This is a very nice example of a late WWII Japanese type 94 semi-automatic pistol with an original pigskin holster and two matching numbered blue magazines. These pistols were developed as a substitute for the earlier Type 14 pistols which required more machining time. This pistol was manufactured by the Nagoya Nambu manufacturing company. The right rear of the receiver has the Nagoya factory markings and the Showa date of 18.7 (July 1941) and it still retains the round top cocking knob feature. Fixed sights, blue finish with straw colored small parts and fitted with black plastic checkered grips. Comes with a correct pigskin pattern leather holster with "D" rings for a strap and Japanese characters on the belt loop.

Excellent. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with thinning on the front strap and a smooth gray patina on the back strap. There are some scratches on the left rear of the frame from normal usage of the safety. The grips are excellent with some minor handling marks and very crisp checkering. The markings are highlighted in white and remain crisp and clear. Mechanically fine. The holster is good with flex cracking, some scuffs and wear, and there are a couple stitches separated, otherwise the stitching is tight.
