World War II German G41 "duv" Code Semi-Automatic Rifle with Reproduction Sniper Scope and Mount

This is an example of a G41 rifle produced by the Berlin-Lubecker company that used the "Bang Gas-Trap" system, which were very short lived and saw extensive use on the Eastern Front. The left side of the receiver is marked "G 41 duv 43" followed by the serial number and an "Eagle/214" proof. First type all machined receiver, bolt carrier and action cover. The trigger guard and box magazine are correct stamped wartime versions. Laminated stock with black phenolic resin handguard. The right side of the buttstock has been restamped with a single "L" and "Eagle 214 Waffenamt" proofs with the serial number of the rifle on the underside. The visible serial numbers are all matching. Fitted with a reproduction early G41 style sniper mount and one of the current reproduction ZF 41 sniper scopes. The mount closely resembles an original and is unnumbered or proofed and the scope is marked "CXN/Z.F.41/970347". With a reproduction leather sling and leather scope caps.
