World War Two era Anagrams word game, with raised yellow letters on black, made by The Embossing Company of Albany, New York. The Embossing Company began making toys and games, including dominoes, checkers, and building blocks in 1870. The company motto, "Toys That Teach", is on the front of the game box in gold. The game has 149 tiles with yellow letters on black ("a color combination that eliminates eye strain") and an embossed diamond design on the back. The instructions and rules are printed on the back of the box cover, to save paper during World War Two. Condition is good to very good, with light surface wear; the box is intact, with the exception of two separated corners on the lid. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $7.00 - $12.50, based upon the zip code of the buyer.
