World War II 1941 Dated Mauser Banner Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching Magazine and 1941 Dated Police Holster

This is a very nice example of a early WWII Mauser Banner Commercial Luger pistol rig that was manufactured in a very short production run in 1941 with 625 total manufactured, intermixed with the standard "Eagle/L" Police Lugers. The top of the chamber area is stamped "41" for the year of manufacture with the large Mauser/Banner logo on the front toggle. The standard right side of the receiver is blank and the left side of the barrel extension and breechblock toggle assembly has the Nazi "Eagle/N" commercial proofmarks. The full serial number "637y" is stamped on the front of the frame and left side of the barrel extension. The barrel is a standard Mauser manufactured barrel that is only marked with a single "Eagle/655" proof, which would be correct for this model. The last two digits of the serial number "37" is stamped on the various small parts. The pistol has a salt blue finish and checkered walnut grips. This late production Banner Luger rig is complete with two original all blue magazines. Both are Type Three magazines with the pinned aluminum bases that are marked "1/637/y" and "2/637/Eagle C". It is complete with a 1941 date Otto Sindel marked Police holster. The back side is marked "OTTO SINDLE/BERLIN/1941/Police Eagle proofmark.
