It is numbered in the military manner with the full serial number "8806s" on the front of the frame, with "8806" on the right barrel extension and barrel. The various smaller parts are all stamped with the partial serial number "06". It has the standard safety and extractor markings and has the all salt blued metal finish with the checkered walnut grips. It is complete with two magazines; one has an unmarked tin-plated magazine body with an unmarked aluminum base and the other has an all blued magazine body with the correct, matching aluminum base. The base is marked: "8806/s/Eagle 63". It is complete with a 1939 dated black leather holster. Very fine as professionally restored with 99% of the blue finish overall with only minor edge and high spot wear. The grips are also excellent with nice distinct checkering overall. The holster is fine with a nice shiny black leather color overall with clear distinct markings and tight stitching. As noted this early luger has all matching numbers to include the one magazine as noted above.
