The World War I images include: a group of Armistice celebrators in front of a large sign that reads: ‘To Hell with the Kaiser’; several women celebrating Armistice Day, reverse dated November 11, 1918; an overhead view of a large parade featuring the 33rd Division; and a row of six flag-draped coffins at Dearborn Station in Chicago, reverse dated August 12, 1921. The three World War II photos are affixed side-by-side to a 15.25 x 6.25 cardstock mount, with images showing soldiers and citizens wearing gas masks, and reverse of each dated April 20, 1941, and attributed to the Herald–American. In overall very good condition, with creasing and edge tears.
